Our collective ambition
Representing a 30-year interdisciplinary collaboration between Telethon Kids, Perth Children’s Hospital, and WA Universities, the combined global impact of work from this Centre over the last 10 years has equalled some of the most influential paediatric centres around the world. This means that, right here in WA, we have one of the leading centres in the world for research into the prevention and cure of respiratory disease in children.
Our aim is to revolutionise current approaches to respiratory healthcare and drive pioneering discoveries out of the labs and into hospital wards — improving the respiratory health of millions of children the world over.
Vision
To ensure that all children have healthy lungs for life.
Mission
To prevent and cure respiratory illness in children through world-class, multidisciplinary research, that will drive pioneering discoveries out of the labs and into the community, across WA, Australia and beyond.
