Phage WA are committed to tackling antimicrobial resistance (AMR) through phage therapy.
Our team actively collect phages that target specific bacteria, ensure these are safe for use and aim to treat humans with these phages through phage therapy. We are also involved in clinical trials to ensure continued and optimal use of phage therapy.
Phage WA operate within the Wal-yan Respiratory Research Centre, a powerhouse partnership between Telethon Kids Institute, Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation and Perth Children’s Hospital.
